Back, again?

It's been about a year since my last blog entry. Whoops. Oddly enough, my last post (almost exactly a year from this one), is pretty much the same as this one will be. It's snowing! It's been snowing all morning, actually. I didn't think I was going to be able to get my car to go up the (slight) hill that's on my usual route to work. I guess the tires couldn't get any traction, because I was applying a fair amount of pressure to the gas pedal and I was still only going about 5 mph. There were several times when I thought the car was just going to stop going forward. When I tried giving it more gas, it started to spin out of control, so I put that idea behind me real quick-like. Finally, though, I reached the summit of the hill. Then, of course, I ended up going downhill again, which was equally treacherous due to the "can't-really-stop" factor. The best part was that the person behind me tailgated me the whole time. Really, dude? You want to rear-end me? Do you not see the snow everywhere and the icy sludge in the street? Do you think you can stop in time? Well, by all means, Driver of the Year.

Oh, by the way, we were only talking about 2-3 inches of snow this morning. Well done, City of Bloomington. I saw a plow go by on Henderson, but I swear they didn't touch any other roads I took on my way to work.
